Waste Management will begin collecting yard waste materials (i.e. trimmed branches, shrubbery, leaves, grass clippings) April 3, 2014 through November 28, 2014. Yard waste is collected by Waste Management once per week on the same day as the refuse collection. All yard waste items placed out for collection by residents must be at the curb by 6:00 a.m.
Yard waste materials can be placed in “Kraft” paper bags designed and sold specifically for the collection and disposal of yard waste. Waste Management has available for rent or purchase 96-gallon carts to homeowners for the purpose of disposing of yard waste. If you would like obtain a yard waste cart please contact Waste Management directly at 1-800-796-9696.
Branches and brush must be bundled and tied with string or twine (not wire). Branches must be cut into lengths of 4 feet or less, and each branch should be no larger than 4 inches in diameter. Each bundle must not weigh more than 50 pounds.
